SGPS Health and Dental Plan

The vast majority of SGPS members are automatically enrolled in the SGPS Health and Dental Plan. You can opt-out of the plan only if you have comparable health insurance elsewhere (parents, partner, etc). The opt-out period is September 10 to 21, 2012. No exceptions. Opt-outs for the Health and Dental Plan are done online only - www.studentplans.ca.

If you are on the SGPS Health and Dental Plan, you may opt-in your partner and/or your dependants. The SGPS offers a couples plan as well as a family plan. For complete details please click here.

Optional Fee Opt-Outs

There are various optional fees that you may opt-out of. The optional fee opt-out period begins September 10th at 9am. The opt-out period will end September 21 at 3pm. No exceptions.

Free Handbook/Dayplanner

The SGPS provides a free Dayplanner/Handbook to all members. New students can get their free handbook at student card registration (Sept 6th - Wallace Hall, JDUC). Returning students can get their free handbook at the SGPS Office (Room 021, JDUC).
